In brief

Industrial heat transfer first builds graphic layers on a carrier film, then uses heat and pressure to transfer them to the target part. Film printing and final transfer are separate process stages.

Which industrial heat transfer methods are common?

Nissha distinguishes roll-type, up-down and vacuum press transfer. A heated silicone roller presses foil against the part in roll transfer; a heated plate suits flat regions; vacuum press transfer helps foil conform to more complex three-dimensional shapes. Part geometry, ink system and target appearance guide the choice.

How do film printing and final transfer connect?

First specify the carrier, release, graphic and bonding layers, then print, dry, register and wind the film. The final part is transferred at a defined temperature, pressure and dwell time before carrier release. Exact layer order and settings must come from material supplier data and trials rather than a generic recipe.

What is the LICHAO screen printer’s role?

LICHAO equipment supports heat transfer film among substrates for its reel-to-reel automatic screen printer, so printed graphic or functional layers on the film can be discussed. This screen printer handles printing; hot transfer pressing requires separate equipment. For continuous web production, verify tension, mark tracking, drying, blocking and curl after winding.

How is this different from UV texture transfer?

The LICHAO UV transfer machines use a mold, UV adhesive, pressure and ultraviolet curing to replicate texture. Industrial heat transfer uses heat and pressure to move the design layer from foil to a part. The material stacks, cure mechanisms and equipment paths differ.

What should a production trial measure?

On the actual panel material, check edge definition, color and texture consistency, adhesion, abrasion, chemical resistance and appearance after heat and humidity exposure. Record temperature, pressure, speed, release behavior and lot yield. For projects in Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand, include local line conditions in the process review.
